Does Dave have a membership fee?
Yes. Your Dave membership, for up to $5 per month, provides access to valuable services including access to ExtraCash™, Income Opportunity Services, and Financial Management Services, such as budgeting and low balance alerts.
It renews monthly on the same date that you start your membership. This fee will continue to be billed until you cancel or change your membership. The Dave Membership can be canceled anytime by visiting the in-app membership settings. Learn more.
How do I open a Dave Checking account?
There are no credit checks or minimum balance requirements when signing up for a Dave Checking account—just pass our identity verification process and you’re good to go!
Do I need a social security number to use Dave?
Yes. Your Social Security Number (SSN) is a unique and secure way for us to identify you and keep your banking information safe.
